Free from practical constraints, the work evolved into a piece of speculative design that reflects the studio’s commitment to imaginative thinking and craft.
The subject centers on a breakthrough polishing pad technology that replaces traditional abrasive slurries, enabling superior, defect-free, and more sustainable surface planarization for advanced chip manufacturing—particularly in applications such as AI, high-performance computing, and 3D packaging.
